Take some traveling ‘round the USA,
mix in a little writing and picture taking too,
now add a dash of learning, stir it altogether,
and I’ll share it all with you.
Sharing leads to creating. Open the cover, and have a look,
yes, it’s finally here, my very first book!
So, I took my love for traveling and learning about our country and combined these loves into a book, and it’s been so much fun! As my journey continues, I’ll have a lot more to say, but my most important goal is to make a positive impact on children’s lives through my books.
And now, here is some food for thought:
Help a child shine and the world becomes a better place.
Follow Addison and her friends through the four seasons as they explore what they like to do, where they like to go, and what they want to be! Learn about Alabama, and look for some state symbols throughout the story, too. This book is the first in a collection that features a girl from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Each book reflects the spirit of the state and showcases some of the many interests that girls have today. The books are colorful and fresh with an educational twist. Best of all, the books encourage friendship, fun, and finding out what makes a girl feel like a star! Ages 4-9 years

My 4 year old loves the book. She had so much fun looking for all the state symbols in the book. The illustrations are adorable and the story takes the character through all the seasons which adds a fun element.
When my grandchildren come to visit, we enjoy doing puzzles and playing games with a United States theme. Shown is a sample of some of our favorites!
Planning a “patriotic” themed photo shoot can be a fun way to teach children about the symbols of the United States. The first thing to do is to come up with ideas for props. Some examples are: flags, Statue of Liberty, apple pie, patriotic themed quilts. Next, figure out...
