Planning a “patriotic” themed photo shoot can be a fun way to teach children about the symbols of the United States.
The first thing to do is to come up with ideas for props. Some examples are: flags, Statue of Liberty, apple pie, patriotic themed quilts.
Next, figure out what to wear. Anything red, white and blue, or matching flag t-shirts are just a couple of ideas.
Now decide where to take the pictures. We went to a local park for ours, but other location ideas could be, in front of a mural or a barn.
